The Fröhlich lab develops models to describe the dynamic behaviour of biological systems combining techniques from mathematical modelling and machine learning. We develop computational tools to build and train these models on experimental data and apply these tools to understand the fundamental rules that govern how cells respond to external perturbations.

The Research Fellow will be required to work on coastal hydrodynamics, such as wave-current interaction, sediment transport, wave-structure interaction which includes both laboratory experiments and numerical modelling with Computational Fluid Dynamics approach.
