Advertised Job Summary The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of South Carolina invites applications for a tenure-track position as an Assistant Professor to conduct research in the area of Computational Inorganic/Materials Chemistry, with a start date of August 16, 2020. The successful candidate will have expertise in modeling extended inorganic structures. The candidate must establish a highly recognized, externally funded research program. The candidate should also have a strong commitment to teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Required Education and Experience Candidates must have a Ph.D. and post-doctoral experience in Chemistry or a related discipline that supports their research plans. Preferred Qualifications The successful candidate will have expertise in modeling extended inorganic structures.
