As part of the DoD HPCMP CREATE Meshing and Geometry Team, your mission will be develop and apply computational workflows utilizing geometry-based modeling for a range of engineering analyses and design scenarios. - Must be able to demonstrate the ability to understand physics-based modeling requirements and work closely with the development team in order to offer computational solutions to the user community. - Must be able to identify gaps and needed improvements in geometric modeling and mesh generation capabilities to realize needed workflows Qualifications - Bachelor's with 10 years of experience, or a Master's with 6 - 8 years of experience. - Demonstrated experience of using one or more geometric modeling and/or finite element tools - Evidence of helping diagnose problems in software tools and perform quality-assurance - Evidence of ability to write technical documents and tutorials - Desired – Should possess: - An understanding of analysis and design process for engineering systems involving flow, acoustics and structures. - Ability to write programming scripts and test programs This position may require the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Clearance processing will be completed by the U.S. Government.
