Overview

A joint computational chemistry postdoctoral position is available in Eck lab and Computational Chemistry Core for a motivated individual to develop and apply cutting-edge computational techniques to guide the design and optimization of small molecule modulators for RAS/RAF pathway activated mutant EGFR and other cancer drug targets. The Eck lab uses structural biochemical and biophysical methods to study signal transduction of kinases and other protein molecules. The Computational Chemistry Core in the Department of Cancer Biology applies molecular modeling approaches to study interactions between small molecules and receptors. The candidate will closely work with chemists structural biologists and cell biologists to advance ligand design and understanding of small-molecule perturbation of signaling.

Located in Boston and the surrounding communities Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is a leader in life changing breakthroughs in cancer research and patient care. We are united in our mission of conquering cancer HIV/AIDS and related diseases. We strive to create an inclusive diverse and equitable environment where we provide compassionate and comprehensive care to patients of all backgrounds and design programs to promote public health particularly among high-risk and underserved populations. We conduct groundbreaking research that advances treatment we educate tomorrow's physician/researchers and we work with amazing partners including other Harvard Medical School-affiliated hospitals.
