We are seeking a highly-motivated candidate for a research fellow position available in the Kappei Lab atthe Cancer Science Institute of Singapore. Our team addresses research questions on nucleic acid-proteininteractions with quantitative mass spectrometry cell biological and genetic approaches applied to cancerresearch. Specifically the successful candidate will be actively involved in a research project investigatinghow RNA loops (R-loops) impact genome stability and gene expression. This project will span a variety ofexperimental approaches e.g. chromatin immunoprecipitation mass spectrometry-based interactomicsapproaches as well as extensive bioinformatics data analyses. The successful candidate will design andconduct experiments analyse data and write manuscripts

Duties And Responsibilities

Requirements:
A PhD in life sciences medicine or related fields
Strong background and working knowledge of basic molecular and cell biological techniques
Strong practical experience with relevant techniques e.g. ChIP interactomics gene expression
Strong experience with relevant computational tools and ability to code in Python or R
Excellent communication skills and good team spirit
Fluent in spoken and written English
