The Theory and Computational Physics group at Jefferson Lab expects to have a Postdoctoral Research Fellow position beginning on February 1, 2021. A later start date is possible. The successful candidate will join a program of research and development in support of the Department of Energy's Exascale Computing Project (ECP) title "Exascale Lattice Gauge Theory Opportunities and Requirements for Nuclear and High Energy Physics. Position Requirements * A PhD in an appropriate area of computational physics is a prerequisite, together with a record of publications in leading journals and talks at workshops and conferences. * Experience with calculations using Lattice Quantum Chromodynamics methods are desired. * Software development to support lattice Quantum Chromodynamics calculations. * Research into improved methods to support lattice Quantum Chromodynamics calculations.
