Description Dr. Yao Wang’s group at Clemson University is actively seeking a enthusiastic postdoc researcher. The project will be focused on one/some of the following topics: (1) numerical simulation of strongly correlated systems, including the dynamical and excited-state properties; (2) hybrid quantum-classical algorithm development for many-body systems; (3) wavefunction-based method development for quantum materials and especially those with strong electron-phonon coupling. The project also involves close collaborations with leading experimental teams. This position comes with a competitive salary, the benefits, and travel funds for conferences and collaborations. The initial position is for two years and can be extended to the third year upon positive performance evaluations and continued funding. Qualifications Candidates with a background on computational physics or quantum chemistry are strongly encouraged to apply. Skills in numerical method development and massively parallel computing are preferred. Application Instructions Interested candidates are required to apply at http://apply.interfolio.com/78954. Please upload a CV that includes a full publication list and three references’ contact information. For full consideration, please apply by October 15, 2020. Please contact Prof. Yao Wang (yaowang@clemson.edu) if you have any questions.
