Anyon Systems is a quantum computing company located in the Greater Montreal Region and with a satellite office in Waterloo We work at the cutting edge of technology to develop and commercialise superconducting quantum computers. The company is rapidly growing and has both hardware and software groups to achieve its R&D goals.
You will be working within our Simulations & High Performance Computing Team, a team of engineers and scientists dedicated to develop massively parallel toolkits to deign superconducting quantum processors. You will focus on developing software tools for the design and simulation of quantum devices which span multiple scales, involve complex geometries, and incorporate a number of physical phenomena. You will collaborate closely with other teams when required. In this role, you will draw on your strong expertise as well as as your critical thinking and obsession for documentation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate degree (preferably a PhD) in engineering, physics, or computer science with strong research background in high performance computing.
- Postdoctoral research experience is a significant asset;
- Strong experience in scientific code development using C++ in Linux environment;
- Experience in using MPI and OpenMP libraries for high performance computing;
- In-depth knowledge of numerical methods and linear algebra including sparse matrix solvers;
- Background in FEM is a significant asset;
- Experience using HPC clusters is a significant asset.
- Experience with code maintenance in a team and code review processes is a significant asset.
