You will be required to interact closely with team members at GM Canadian Technical Centre and work cross functionally to develop standard work procedure, root cause analysis, compare analytical results to test, and identify analytical gaps.

The successful candidate needs to have in-depth knowledge in electronic module/PCB EMC modelling. We are looking for individuals who demonstrate creativity, ingenuity, initiative and a high level of independent judgement to apply!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify the critical components on the PCB that contribute to radiated emissions.

  • Develop analysis capabilities to obtain high frequency digital signals and power signals on PCB

  • Develop electronic module/PCB EMC model for radiated emission analysis using tools like CST, HFSS/SiWave, or FEKO

  • Develop innovative solutions for solving performance gaps. Leverage internal expertise (global partners), and external knowledge (global supply base and academia)

  • Capture project key technological learnings and propose future improvement opportunities

  • Ensure on time delivery of high-quality results
