Position Summary We are seeking a highly motivated graduate student to join our research group for a summer internship program on precision cancer target discovery. The intern will work directly with their mentor and collaborate with other colleagues to analyze big cancer patient datasets to inform novel therapeutic hypotheses. The major focus of the work will be to leverage single-cell and bulk multi-omic data to reconstruct the landscape of tumor heterogeneity/evolution and delineate the mechanisms of drug resistance in patients who underwent standard of care treatments. A successful candidate is expected to have strong experience in analyzing single-cell and bulk cancer transcriptome data. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate student to gain experience in cancer genomic research to support precision drug discovery in a collaborative corporate research environment. Key Responsibilities Analyze large next-generation cancer genome and transcriptome sequencing datasets Interpret biological pathways/mechanisms of tumor heterogeneity and drug resistance Write reports and present results to cross-functional R&D groups Qualifications & Experience Currently enrolled in an MS/PhD program Proficient in R or Python (for data analysis and visualization) and bioinformatics packages Experienced in transcriptomic analyses (at bulk and single-cell level) Good understanding of molecular biology and cancer genomics Excellent communication skills Experienced with analysis of multi-omic data single-cell trajectory and tumor microenvironment is a plus Why You Should Apply Around the world we are passionate about making an impact on the lives of patients with serious diseases.
