Position Summary We have an exciting summer internship opportunity in our Informatics & Predictive Sciences cellular therapy discovery team. The team creates and applies innovative computational approaches to facilitate target discovery. A successful candidate will work with their mentors to develop a computational pipeline for constructing knowledge graphs from public resources and develop machine learning models for cellular therapy target discovery. In collaboration with Informatics and Predictive Sciences colleagues the candidate will help to identify key drivers that improve therapeutic efficacy of our CAR T cell therapy products. Key Responsibilities Explore and test performance of knowledge graph representation learning models. Build a computational pipeline to programmatically extract public causal network knowledge. Design pipelines to build integrative graphs from abstracts full text or other sources using large language models (LLMs). Explore methods to use knowledge graphs for causal inference and prediction of systems level activity from gene perturbations. Qualifications & Experience Candidate must be available to work full time for the duration (10-weeks) of the internship Currently enrolled in a graduate program in computer science biostatistics data science bioinformatics or a similar quantitative field.
