Yale School of Medicine - Yale University

The Yale School of Medicine seeks applicants for a tenure track faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to join the newly established Yale Center for Systems and Engineering Immunology (CSEI), led by Dr. John Tsang. Qualified individuals in the areas of synthetic, quantitative, and computational immunology are invited to apply.

 

Qualifications

Applicants should have a Ph.D. and/or M.D. and a track record of research excellence as demonstrated by publications. Candidates are expected to develop an innovative research program to tackle basic and/or applied problems by inventing and applying new experimental technologies, machine learning algorithms, quantitative modeling, and data-driven and mechanistic causal modeling approaches to dissect and predict immune system processes and their interaction with physiological systems. Participation in departmental teaching and mentoring is required. The candidate is expected to have a primary appointment in Immunobiology; joint or secondary appointments in YSM, SEAS, and FAS departments may be considered.
