Description: A postdoctoral position in computational biochemistry is available at the Ecole Polytechnique, just outside Paris, France.
Possible projects involve protein engineering by computational protein design and structure/function studies of supramolecular complexes and the translation apparatus using molecular dynamics and free energy simulations. Experimental collaborations are underway for both aspects.

The position is suitable for a highly motivated person with a Ph.D. in the area of computational chemistry, biomolecular simulations, computational biophysics or biology, physical chemistry, chemical physics, or a related field.
The position is initially for one year, starting December 1st 2012 or later. Renewal for a second year is possible by mutual agreement.
